The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notice regarding the re-opening of the online application portal for JEE (Main) Session-2 2026. This update is extremely important for students who missed the earlier registration window. This is your final chance to appear for JEE Main 2026.

Why the JEE Main 2026 Application Portal Has Been Re-Opened
The application window for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026 Session-2 was earlier open from 01 February, 2026 to 25 February, 2026. Now, the NTA, after receiving multiple requests, has decided to give candidates one more opportunity to complete their application process.
The JEE Main Session 2 2026 is tentatively scheduled from 02 April, 2026 to 09 April, 2026 in India and few other cities outside. This examination will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT Mode).
New Dates for JEE Main Session 2 Application form 2026
The application portal for JEE Main Session 2 is opened from 12 March, 2026 to 13 March, 2026 (09:00 p.m.) for the submission of online application form. After submitting the application form, you are eligible for fee payment up to 13 March, 2026 (11:50 p.m.).
Note: You can submit the application form through online mode only.
Important Instructions for Students Submitting The JEE Main Session 2 Application Form
You should keep the following points addressed by NTA in mind while filling the online application form:
- Ensure that all the information that you enter during the online registration process is accurate and complete. No correction window will be made available after the submission of the application form during this period.
- You are also advised to refer to the earlier notice dated 01 February, 2026 regrading the instructions to fill the application form for JEE Main Session 2.

Note: This application portal is only open to candidates who weren’t able to submit their application forms or complete the fee payment earlier. Candidates who have submitted their application forms earlier shall not register again and will also not be permitted to make any changes.
