The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently announced the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Application Form and Time Table. With this announcement, it was confirmed that session 1 will be held in January 2026, while Session 2 will be held in April 2026. The online application form for JEE session 1 examination is made available on the official JEE website.
If you’re planning to appear for JEE (Main) 2026, make sure to submit your application by 27 November, 2025. Don’t wait until the last minute to apply and risk rushed errors.
The Information Bulletin for the same was made available to the candidates on the NTA website. However there had been uncertainty regarding the use of the virtual calculator in the examination.

Clarification Regarding the Use of Virtual Calculators in JEE (Main) 2026 Examination
In Appendix VIII of the JEE (Main) 2026 Information Bulletin, it was mentioned that an onscreen standard calculator will be available during the Computer-Based Test (CBT). However, this feature is part of the generic test platform and does not apply to JEE (Main) examination.
Note: The use of calculators is strictly not allowed in this examination.
With this clarification, the NTA has also revised its Information Bulletin for JEE (Main) 2026. You are advised to download the updated bulletin for accurate information.
