The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune, has issued a crucial public notice for all aspiring private candidates (Form No. 17) for the upcoming February–March 2026 SSC (Std. 10) and HSC (Std. 12) Examinations.
If you missed the initial deadline for Maharashtra Board 10 and 12 exams private form 17 registration 2026, this is your final opportunity to register as a private candidate, though a late fee will apply.

Important Dates for SSC and HSC Private Form 17 Enrollment 2026
Earlier, the MSBSHSE had extended the deadlines for registration through Form no. 17 for Std. 10 and 12 Board exams 2026.
Now, the extended period has ended and online registration for both SSC and HSC Board 2026 private candidates must be done with a late fee:

Note: The late fee of ₹100/- is charged per student in addition to the regular enrollment and processing fees.
How to Complete SSC and HSC Private Form 17 2026 Board Exams Online Application Process?
You must use the online method for registration; offline applications will not be accepted.
- Visit the Official Portal: You must access the SSC and HSC Board 2026 registration form on the official Maharashtra Board website: http://www.mahahsscboard.in. Detailed instructions are available on the website and must be read before beginning the process.
- Keep Documents Ready: Prepare the following documents, as they must be scanned and uploaded during the online application:
- Original School Leaving Certificate (If the original is unavailable, a photocopy along with an affidavit is required).
- Aadhaar Card
- Student's Passport-size Photograph
- Final Submission: After successfully filling the Maharashtra SSC and HSC private candidate online application 2026 and paying the fee, you must print the following and submit them to the selected secondary school/junior college:
- The original application form.
- Two photocopies of the online enrollment fee receipt.
- The original documents used for verification (e.g., Leaving Certificate).
- Enrollment Certificate: Only eligible students will be provided with an Online Enrollment Certificate. Upon receiving this certificate, the student must then proceed to fill out the final Examination Form (with the examination fee) within the period prescribed by the Board.
Important Note: Ensure you collect all original documents back from the institution after the scrutiny process is complete.
