The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released a notice extending the deadlines for registration through Form no. 17 for Std. 10 and 12 Board exams 2026.

Details for Submitting the Registration Form for Private Students of Std. 10 and 12 Maharashtra Board Exams
For SSC and HSC examinations, all schools and junior colleges are authorised to register private candidates in accordance with the Board’s terms and conditions.
If you are a private student appearing for the Maharashtra SSC and HSC Board exams 2026, do not forget to check the important details like the Form no. 17 eligibility criteria, documents required, etc.
You must keep the following points in mind while submitting your Form no. 17 registration:
- You must complete the online registration form with correct and authentic details and pay the applicable registration fees.
- The original application form, two photocopies of the online fee receipt, and original documents must be submitted to the school or junior college listed on the form.
Note: Private students can register only through the online mode.

- Once obtained, students must submit their examination forms within the prescribed dates along with the examination fee. The original documents submitted for verification will be returned by the respective school or junior college.
