The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a one-time correction window for Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2026 Session 2.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Correction Window Dates
You can edit your application details during:
- Correction window: 27 February to 28 February, 2026
- Deadline: Up to 11:50 p.m. on 28 February, 2026
After this deadline, no further corrections will be allowed under any circumstances.
Who Can Use JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Correction Window Facility?
You can use the correction window in the following cases:
Fresh candidate for JEE Main 2026 Session 2, or
Registered in Session 1 and also applied for Session 2
Fields You Can Edit (Existing Candidates) in JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration Form
If you registered in JEE Main 2026 Session 1 and also applied for Session 2, you can modify:
- Course (Paper)
- Medium of Question Paper
- State Code of Eligibility
- Examination Cities (as per available options)
- Educational qualification details (Class 10 and Class 12)
- Gender
- Category
- Identity details (only if you registered using an ID other than Aadhaar)
- Fee payment (if applicable)
Details You Cannot Change (Existing Candidates) in JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration Form
NTA has clearly stated that you cannot edit:
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Permanent and present address
- Emergency contact details
- Uploaded photograph
Name Correction Rule in JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration Form
You are allowed to change only one of the following (for Existing Candidates):
- Your name
- Father’s name
- Mother’s name
If You Applied Only for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 (Fresh Candidates)
You can modify or add the following details:
- Educational qualification details
- State Code of Eligibility
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category/PwD (if not verified via UDID)
- Signature
- Paper selection
You may also change details such as:
- Examination city (based on your address)
- Medium of examination
- Aadhaar details (if you earlier registered with another ID)
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Correction Window Fee Rules
- Additional fees will apply wherever your changes impact the application fee.
- No fee refund will be provided in any case.
- Once you submit corrections, your form will be frozen.
