The Centralised Admission Process for professional courses under the State Common Entrance Test (CET) for the academic year 2025-26 has officially begun. Students who have completed their online registration and submitted applications are now undergoing the document verification stage.
As part of this verification, many candidates from reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, VJ, NT, SEBC, SBC) have submitted documents called EWS certificates (Economically Weaker Section). However, it's important to note that students from these reserved categories are not eligible for benefits under the EWS quota, even if they have submitted such certificates.
What Students Need to Do:
- If you fall under SC, ST, OBC, VJ, NT, SEBC, or SBC categories and have submitted an EWS certificate, it will not be considered.
- You should update your documents and make corrections through the grievance redressal window provided in the admission portal.
- If you're not able to raise your concern during the document correction period, you will have to book a ticket and visit the help centre on the last day of the grievance redressal window.
Other Important Update
These students must correct their application forms and upload the right documents for their actual reserved category. This must be done within the grievance redressal period.
For courses where there is no grievance redressal period, such as Medical, AYUSH, etc., students must raise a ticket and make the required changes before the last date of registration.
All affected students are advised to act quickly and make the necessary corrections to avoid issues during the admission process.
