DTE Admission 2026-27: What Is the Institutional-Level Admission Process?
The institutional-level admission process will be conducted for seats that remain vacant after the Management Quota and CAP rounds.
As per the instructions, colleges can conduct this process only after all rounds of the Centralised Admission Process are completed.
How Will Vacant Seats Be Allotted?
All remaining seats must be allotted strictly on the basis of the merit of the applicant candidates (Inter-se Merit).
Colleges are required to follow Rule 13 of the Information Brochure while conducting institutional-level admissions.

They will also submit daily compliance reports to the competent authority after completion of the process.
CCTV Surveillance Mandatory for Institutional-Level Admissions
The entire admission process, including document verification and room/hall allotment, must be conducted under CCTV surveillance.
Colleges must preserve the CCTV recordings for the prescribed period. The recordings should also be made available for inspection, audit, or grievance redressal if requested by the competent authority.

If you are waiting for admission through the institutional-level process, make sure you rely only on official admission information.
The circular warns students and parents not to fall for false claims or misleading information from fake counsellors, media or news outlets claiming to arrange admissions.
You should verify all information about the admission process only through the official CET website or the official website of the concerned institution.

Parents are specifically informed that seats may be filled before the completion of the centralised admission process.
Therefore, you should carefully follow the official admission updates and instructions issued by the concerned authorities and institutions.

Colleges conducting institutional-level admissions must strictly follow the rules provided in the Information Brochure.
They must also maintain the required records and submit details of students, parents, and relatives who were physically present and admitted during the process to the CET/Admission Regulatory Authority via email every day after the admission process.
Once your admission is confirmed, the institution must immediately register your admission on the official CAP portal and inform the CET office.
