This initiative is part of CBSE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen student well-being support systems and ensure capacity building in schools.

What is the Online Remote Invigilation Examination for School Counselling and Wellness Teachers
CBSE has launched this examination as part of its capacity building and quality assurance framework for counselors working in CBSE affiliated schools. The Board aims to ensure that counselors are fully prepared to support students’ emotional, psychological, and academic needs.
For this purpose, CBSE has also launched Psycho-Social Counselling for Classes 10 and 12 Board Exam Students 2026.

Overview of the Online Remote Invigilation Examination (Proctored Assessment)
- The Online Remote Invigilation is a certification/assessment initiative aimed at standardising evaluation process, promoting transparency, and making teachers familiar with the digital assessment tools.
- This initiative is aimed towards 10,000 counselors across all CBSE-affiliated schools. The first batch has already begun in February 2026.
- This assessment will be conducted on an AI-enabled platform, DIGI-EXAM, for ethical understanding and practical application.
This forward-looking approach not only supports and strengthens students’ mental health and well-being in school but also ensures that the counselors are well-equipped and walk hand-in-hand with the evolving needs of the students.
Important Instructions for CBSE Affiliated Schools
All schools are advised to ensure the participation of their Counselling and Wellness Teachers (Socio-Emotional Counselors) in the Online Remote Invigilation Examination (Proctored Assessment) as communicated by the Board.
The Board would nominate the Counselors, and these nominations would be based on the details of Counselors updated by the school on the OASIS Portal.
Schools are advised to regularly update Counselor’s details on the portal.
