Why Accurate CBSE Classes 9 and 11 Registration Data Matters for Board Exams
CBSE has made it clear that this registration process is the first and most vital step toward the Board Examinations of 2026–2027.
- Eligibility for Board Exams: Only those students who are correctly registered through this process will be eligible to appear for the subsequent Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations.
- 100% Compliance Mandate: The circular directs principals to ensure that data for 100% of students studying in Classes 9 and 11 is filled. No student should remain unregistered due to common excuses like being unwell or out of station.
CBSE Instructions for Data Accuracy in Classes 9 and 11 Registration
To prevent future complications and eliminate correction requests, the Board is stressing meticulous data entry:
- Mandatory APAAR ID Linking: The CBSE has mandated the linking of the student's APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) during the registration of students for both Classes 9 and 11.
- No Abbreviations: Schools are strictly advised to fill in the full names of the candidate, mother, and father/guardian, avoiding all abbreviations.
- Limited Correction Window: A facility for correction/verification will be opened for a limited time, from 14 November, 2025, to 28 November, 2025, after which no further corrections will be allowed by the Board.
- Parental Briefing: Schools are directed to brief parents about the importance of correct data and the consequences of submitting wrong information.
