Attention students and teachers! A crucial alert has been issued by CBSE regarding the submission of data pertaining to List of Candidates (LOC).
CBSE has released a notice spreading awareness regarding the correct submission of data of LOC for Board examinations of Class 10 first examination and Class 12 main examinations.

Guidelines Related to the Correct Data Submission of LOC
CBSE raises awareness about confirmation of data pertaining to the following points:
- To ensure the spelling of name of the student/mother/father/guardian is correct with respect to the pre-school record or the admission/withdrawal register maintained by the school.
- To ensure that the Date of Birth (DOB) is correct with respect to the pre-school record or the admission/withdrawal register maintained by the school.
- The data must be simultaneously updated on the CWSN portal
- The subject combinations are rightly mentioned and are correct as per the scheme of studies.

Important Instructions Regarding Correction and Verification Slip
- Any incorrect data can be corrected by the school itself before the last date of LOC submission as mentioned in the circular dated 27 August, 2025.
- In case of correction, after the submission of data with the payment of fees, the school can correct the data before the final date of submission. On correction, if any additional fees is required, it must be paid by the school.
- If any error is detected at the time of verification slip generation, the correct data can be updated before the last date of submission as mentioned in the August circular.
- Even after the generation of verification slip, the data found to be incorrect can be corrected from 13 October, 2025 to 27 October, 2025.
Note: CBSE will not allow any further correction/changes in the LOC data after this period for the 2025–26 Board exams.

This awareness notice by CBSE is released to prevent the last moment hurdles faced by students and teachers. This move aims to smoothen the execution of Board exams for both Class 10 and 12.
