The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the withheld scorecards for the JEE Main 2025 examination. The results of 39 candidates in Session 1 were withheld due to the use of unfair means. In Session 2, 110 candidates had their results withheld for document forgery and other violations. Additionally, the results of 23 candidates were previously withheld due to application discrepancies. After weeks of uncertainty, these 23 candidates, who had been waiting for their results due to application form discrepancies, can now breathe a sigh of relief.
Why Were Some Results Withheld?
The NTA had earlier withheld the results of several candidates. The reason? The withheld results were primarily due to the presence of discrepancies in the application forms regarding photographs, biometric details, and other personal information which needed thorough investigation.
What Happens Now?
The NTA has now released these withheld results, which means that students whose scores were earlier pending can access their final marks and rankings. This brings much-needed clarity to those who were unsure of their performance and eligibility for further rounds of the admission process.
Show-Cause Notices for Certain Candidates
Alongside the release of the results, the NTA has issued show-cause notices to some candidates who had not provided the correct documents in the exam process. Candidates who receive such notices will have suitable action taken against them.
How to Check the Result?
If you are one of these 23 candidates, head over to the official JEE NTA website and log in with your credentials to view your scorecard.
Stay tuned for more updates, and best of luck to all the candidates!
