The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has provided the facility to students to enter the Board examination privately by filling Form No. 17 for the Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate for 2025–26. The MSBSHSE has provided students with the extended dates for filling the Form No. 17.

Details Regarding Form No. 17 for Private Candidates
All schools and junior colleges are available for private students for Std. 10 and 12 Board examinations as per the terms and conditions of the Board. All the information in this regard has been published on the Board's official website.
For both Std. 10 and 12 February–March 2026 Board examinations the private candidates must fill the online application form available on the official MSBSHSE website.
Note: All applications must be filled through the online form only. No offline applications will be accepted.

Important Documents Required to Fill Maharashtra Form No. 17
A private candidate filling the 2026 Form No. 17 application must submit the following documents online:
- Original, Duplicate, or Affidavit of the school leaving certificate.
- Aadhaar card.
- Passport size photo
Note: You must scan all the required documents while filling up the online application form.
Once you fill the Maharashtra SSC and HSC application form, your enrollment certificate would be generated online. After receiving the Enrollment Certificate, the eligible students must fill the Examination Form along with the examination fee within the period specified by the Board.
Once the application form is filled, you can take back the original documents given for scrutiny from the concerned secondary school or junior college.
