Did you missed filling your Maharashtra SSC or HSC Exam Form No. 17 yet? Don’t worry, the deadline is extended!
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has provided the facility to appear privately for the February–March 2027 Secondary School Certificate SSC (Std. 10) and Higher Secondary Certificate HSC (Std. 12) examinations by filling out Form No. 17. The Board has declared an extension for the last date of submission of application for the private candidates registration (Form No. 17).
All schools and junior colleges can register their students as private candidates for SSC/HSC examination subject to the conditions laid down by the Board.

SSC And HSC Private Candidates Board Examination: Extended Dates

Important Guidelines For Private Candidates:
You must visit the official website to fill online application form. Refer the guidelines given on the website while filling the application form. In case of any difficulty you can contact your school/junior college/divisional board.
While filling the online application, you must have the following documents handy:
- Original School Leaving Certificate (LC). If not available, Duplicate Copy with Affidavit.
- Aadhaar Card.
- Recent passport size photograph.
These documents need to be scanned and uploaded.
If you are eligible, you will get an Enrolment Certificate online. You will have to fill the application form for examination and pay examination fee within the time frame mentioned by the Board.
Once the application is filled you must ensure that you retrieve the original documents which were submitted for verification from the respective secondary school/junior college.
Note: There will not be any further extension for registration as a private candidate for February-March 2027 Board examinations.
