The Maharashtra State Board has officially released a notice regarding the extension of deadline for the last day of registration of Form No. 17 for Std. 10 and 12 Board exams 2026 private candidates .

What do You Need to Know About Form No. 17
If you are a private student wishing to appear for Maharashtra SSC or HSC Board exams, you must register through Form No. 17 online on the official website: www.mahahsscboard.in
Maharashtra State Board’s Extended Deadline for Form No. 17
The final online registration and payment for private candidates is now extended to 15 September, 2025. All submissions will be only be accepted through online mode. Remember, there is no provision for offline registration or payment.
Important Instructions for Private Candidates Registering to Form No. 17
After you are done with the registration and payment process, you must take a print out of the application form and the payment receipt. These, along with your original documents are to be submitted to the school or junior college you are selected into.
You can contact the respective school or junior college that are allotted to you, for any queries or hurdles faced.
Final Word
This extension of dates by the Maharashtra State Boards is a step to give students the opportunity and time to complete their pending processes and appear for the upcoming Board exams.
