The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 registrations are open. Students can now take advantage of the two-session format for JEE exam, designed to provide additional preparation time or an opportunity to improve their scores if they are not satisfied with their first attempt.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced in their public notice dated 01 February, 2025 that the registration process is now open. They have also stated that you are not allowed to fill more than one application form. Filling more than one application form will be considered as Unfair Means (UFM) and strict action will be taken against it.

Application Process for JEE Main 2025 Session 2:
Reappearing Candidates
If you had applied for JEE Main Session 1 and also wish to appear for JEE Main Session 2, you are required to log in with your previous Application Number and password. You can choose the paper, medium of examination, and city of examination. The fees should be paid as per the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam fee structure.
You can check the step-by-step process given below on how to apply for JEE Main 2025 Session 2.
1. Go to the official website of JEE. Click on the ‘Candidate Activity: Registration for JEE (Main) 2025 Session 2’ tab.
2. You will be redirected to a new tab. Click on the ‘Already Existing Candidate’ tab and login.
3. You will be redirected to another page. You have to enter your JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Application Number, password, and CAPTCHA for verification.
4. You can download the information bulletin from the website for complete details about the exam.
5. Check the list of examination cities available on the website to find your preferred location.
6. After logging in, fill the application form and pay the fees applicable for JEE Main 2025 Session 2.
Application Process for JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Fresh Candidates
If you’re a fresh candidate i.e. who has not applied for JEE Main 2025 Session 1, you need to first register online before you can fill the application form. Follow the process given below to register for JEE Main 2025 Session 2.
1. Go to the official website of JEE. Click on the ‘Candidate Activity: Registration for JEE (Main) 2025 Session 2’ tab.
2. You will be redirected to a new tab. Click on the ‘Register Your Profile: New Registration’ tab.
3. You will land on the ‘Instructions and Procedure for Online Submission of Application Form’ window. After carefully reading all the instructions, give consent on the declaration and click proceed.
4. Fill out all the details in the application form and proceed to pay the fees.
5. For more information, you can download the Information Bulletin available on the website and also check your preferred City Exam Centre.
