The Directorate of Education, Government of Maharashtra, has officially revised the schedule for the Class 11 (FYJC) online admission process for the academic year 2025-26. This year marks the first time that the online admission process is being implemented across the entire state.
Updated FYJC Admission Dates for 2025-26
Initially, the first general merit list for Std. 11 admissions was to be announced on June 26, 2025. However, due to ongoing court matters related to the admission capacity of minority institutions and some technical issues, the release of this list had to be postponed.
According to Government Circular No. Admission 1225/Pr.No.-16/SD-2 dated June 23, 2025, the Hon’ble Court directed a review of seat allotments, especially for minority colleges. In order to ensure transparency and smooth processing, the Education Department has updated the admission timeline.
Schedule Updates
| Sr. No. | Date | Admission Activity |
| 1 | June 30, 2025 | Release of first merit list based on students’ scores |
| 2 | July 1, 2025 to July 7, 2025 | Students must visit allotted junior colleges and confirm their admission |
| 3 | July 9, 2025 | Colleges to display remaining vacant seats for the second admission round |
Important Notes for Students and Parents
- All students must check their names in the merit list on the official portal and confirm their admission at the allotted college between July 1 and July 7, 2025.
- Admission will only be confirmed after document verification at the respective junior college.
- The second merit list will only be announced based on the remaining seats after the first round.
The Education Department has urged all principals, students, and parents involved in the Std. 11 online admission process to take note of this revised schedule and cooperate to ensure a smooth and fair admission process.
