The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) continues its commitment to the well-being of its students by launching the second phase of its Psychosocial Counselling services for Class 10 and 12 examinees. This post-result initiative started on 13 May, 2025 and will run for 15 days, concluding on 28 May, 2025.
What is the Second Phase of CBSE Psychosocial Counselling 2025?
The initial phase of CBSE counselling was offered during the examination period. This second phase specifically addresses the unique challenges that arise after the results are announced. This means dealing with post-result stress and anxieties.
Psychosocial Counselling by CBSE Professionals 2025
CBSE has assembled a dedicated team of 65 qualified professionals. This team comprises 51 experts based in India and 14 from abroad. This includes experienced principals, trained counsellors, special educators from CBSE-affiliated government and private schools—as well as psychologists from both India and overseas. These professionals will offer remote, tele-counselling assistance on a voluntary basis.
How to Avail CBSE Psychosocial Counselling Services 2025
Students and parents across India can easily access this valuable support by dialing the toll-free helpline number: 1800–11–8004.
This support system also offers valuable information and practical tips for managing result-related stress through an Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) mode. This ensures that even those who prefer not to speak directly to a CBSE counsellor can find helpful resources.
CBSE has also made additional resources readily available online. Stakeholders are encouraged to visit the dedicated 'Counselling' link on the CBSE website: https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/Counselling.
Furthermore, their YouTube Channel, https://www.youtube.com/@cbsehq1905 also promises to be a source of guidance and support.
