The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is all set to host a special webinar series focused on the new Class 9 textbooks for the academic session 2026–27.
Objective of the NCERT Webinar Series
Education in India is evolving, and with the introduction of the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023, textbooks are being redesigned to reflect a more modern, student-focused approach. But new NCERT textbooks also mean new ways of teaching and learning.
Hence, this initiative aims to support everyone involved in a student’s learning journey in understanding what’s new, what’s evolving, and how these changes will influence classroom teaching.
Details on Webinar Series for New Class 9 Textbooks
This special webinar will commence from 06 April, 2026 (Monday) in a live session mode. The timing for the webinar will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. everyday as per the schedule prescribed by NCERT.
How Can You Attend the Webinar
The webinar will take place as a live telecast as follows:
- For Classes 1 to 10 the telecast will be on PMeVIDYA DTH TV channels.
- The live telecast will simultaneously also take place on NCERT Official YouTube channel and PMeVIDYA YouTube channel for Classes 1 to 10. You can also ask questions and post your suggestions on the YouTube Chatbox.
- The webinar will also be available on the PMeVIDYA Mobile App on both Android and IOS versions.
