NCERT Launches Webinar Series on New Class 9 Textbooks for 2026–27

If you’re a CBSE school teacher trying to keep up with the latest changes in education, here’s something worth your attention. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is all set to host a special webinar series focused on the new Class 9 textbooks for the academic session 2026–27.

Objective of the NCERT Webinar Series

Education in India is evolving, and with the introduction of the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023, textbooks are being redesigned to reflect a more modern, student-focused approach. But new NCERT textbooks also mean new ways of teaching and learning. 

Hence, this initiative aims to support everyone involved in a student’s learning journey in understanding what’s new, what’s evolving, and how these changes will influence classroom teaching.

Details on Webinar Series for New Class 9 Textbooks

This special webinar will commence from 06 April, 2026 (Monday) in a live session mode. The timing for the webinar will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. everyday as per the schedule prescribed by NCERT.

How Can You Attend the Webinar

The webinar will take place as a live telecast as follows:

• For Classes 1 to 10 the telecast will be on PMeVIDYA DTH TV channels.
• The live telecast will simultaneously also take place on NCERT Official YouTube channel and PMeVIDYA YouTube channel for Classes 1 to 10. You can also ask questions and post your suggestions on the YouTube Chatbox.
• The webinar will also be available on the PMeVIDYA Mobile App on both Android and IOS versions.
