Note: No challenges will be accepted after this deadline.
How to Challenge the JEE Main 2026 Answer Key
Follow these simple steps:
1. Visit the official JEE Main website
2. Click on ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’
3. Log in using your Application Number and Password
4. Enter the CAPTCHA Code and Submit
5. Click again on the ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’
6. View the Question IDs as:

7. Check the ‘Correct Option’ provided by NTA
8. Select the option(s) you want to challenge by clicking the check box
9. Upload supporting documents by selecting ‘Choose File and Upload’ in a single PDF file
10. Click ‘Save your claim’
11. Review all selected challenges on the display
12. Click ‘Save your claim and Pay Fee finally’
13. Pay the required non-refundable fee online through your desired mode of payment
Fee Details for Answer Key Challenge
If you wish to challenge the provisional answer key for any question provided by the NTA you have to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question. You can pay the fee through the following options:
- Debit Card
- Credit Card
- Net Banking
Note: Challenges made without payment of fee will not be accepted.
What Happens After You Submit a Challenge?
All challenges are reviewed by subject experts. If a challenge is found correct the answer key will be revised and will be made available to all the candidates.
The final result will be prepared based on the revised answer key. This answer key will be final and binding to all.
