Are you planning to take the CUET (UG) 2025 exam? The NTA has recently started accepting the application forms for the exam which requires you to submit certain documents.
Now, these documents have to be just right. They need to be uploaded in a specific way (like a picture or a PDF), and they have certain size requirements too. If the files aren't correct, your application might get rejected.
So, this guide is here to help you understand exactly which documents you need, how to save them in the right format, and what their size should be. We'll make sure you have everything ready, so your CUET (UG) 2025 application goes smoothly.
Document Specifications
1. Photograph

- You must upload a recent passport-sized (2”×2”) photograph which should either be in colour or black and white.
- The photograph must display 80% of your face with ears being visible without a mask.
- It should be taken against a white background.
- The file should be named as ‘first two characters of candidate name_Photo’ For example, if a candidate’s name is Neha, the file name should be ‘NE_PHOTO’.
- The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 KB to 200 KB. The format should be in JPG/JPEG.
- Keep multiple copies of the photograph as the same photo will be required in the application form, on the exam day, as well as counselling/admission process.
2. Signature

- You must upload a scanned copy of your signature.
- The file should be named as ‘first two characters of candidate name_Signature'. For example, if a candidate’s name is Neha, the file name should be ‘NE_SIGNATURE’.
- Size of the scanned signature must be between 10 KB to 50 KB. The format should be JPG/JPEG.
3. PwD/PwBD/UDID Certificate

- If applicable, the file should be named as ‘first two characters of name_PwDCertificate'. For example, if a candidate’s name is Neha, the file name should be ‘NE_PWDCERTIFICATE’.
- Size of the Certificate should be between 50 KB to 300 KB. The format should be in PDF format.
Important Instructions Regarding the Documents
Before uploading your documents, carefully review these instructions to ensure you don’t overlook anything.
- Ensure that your photograph and signature are clear and not blurred. If they are unclear, your application will be rejected, and no corrections or revisions will be allowed.
- Do not upload someone else’s documents in your application form as it will be considered as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices and actions will be taken against you.
- You are not required to send a physical copy of any document to the NTA.
