Overview of Answer Key Challenge for CUET (UG) 2026
The following are the most important points that you must not miss if you are challenging an answer or more.
- You can submit your challenge between 09 June, 2026 to 11 June, 2026 (upto 10:00 p.m.).
- The fee for submitting a challenge is ₹200 per question. This fee is non-refundable.
- The last day of payment of fees is 11 June, 2026 (upto 11:50 p.m.).
Step-by-Step Process to Challenge the CUET UG 2026 Answer Key
Step 1: Visit the Official CUET Website
Go to the official CUET portal and click on ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’
Step 2: Log In
Enter the following details:
- Application Number
- Password
- Captcha code displayed on the screen
After entering the required details, click on ‘Submit’.
Step 3: View Your Question Paper and Recorded Responses
- Click ‘View Question Paper’ to check the marked responses.
- Click ‘Click to View/Challenge Answer Key’ to access the answer key and challenge options.
Note: NTA has clarified that the Question IDs in the answer key list are not displayed in sequential order. You are advised to refer to your question paper and match the Question IDs shown in the answer key with the corresponding Question IDs in your question paper.
How to Submit a Challenge
- When viewing the answer key, the ID displayed under ‘Correct Option(s)’ represents the correct answer.
- If you disagree with the answer, you may challenge it by selecting one or more Option IDs provided.
Upload Supporting Documents
You can upload supporting evidence for your challenge by submitting all supporting documents into a single PDF file. Upload the file using the ‘Choose File’ option.
Review and Finalise Your Claims
- After selecting the answer(s) you wish to challenge, scroll down and click ‘Submit and Review Claims’.
- Review all selected challenges. If changes are required, click ‘Modify your Claims’.
- If everything is correct, click "Final Submit".
You will then see a summary of all submitted challenges.
Answer Key Challenge Fee
To complete the challenge process, you must pay the prescribed fee of ₹200 per question challenged. Payment can be made through:
- Debit Card
- Credit Card
- Net Banking
- UPI
After reviewing the claims click ‘Pay Now’.
Note: The challenge will be considered successfully submitted only after the payment is completed.
