The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a special extension for CUET (UG) 2026 applications, giving you another opportunity to register and pay the application fees. If you missed the earlier deadlines, this is your last chance to secure your slot for this entrance test.
Why NTA Re-Opened CUET (UG) 2026 Applications
The Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] 2026 is scheduled in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from 11 May to 31 May, 2026 (tentative) across India and select international centers.
Originally, the CUET (UG) 2026 online application window was from 3 January to 30 January, 2026, with fee payment allowed until 31 January, 2026. The CUET (UG) 2026 application deadline was later extended to 4 February for submissions, and 7 February for fee payments.
After receiving multiple requests from students for additional time, the NTA has decided to re-open the CUET (UG) 2026 application portal for a limited period from 23 February (afternoon) to 26 February, 2026 (up to 11:50 p.m.)
Important Details Students Must Know
- No Corrections Allowed: Since this is a special extended window, you must ensure all details entered are accurate and complete. No corrections will be allowed after submission.
- Application Fee Payment: Make sure the application fee is paid within this extended window to successfully complete registration.
- Check Official Websites: For all updates, notifications, and detailed instructions, regularly visit NTA Website and CUET (UG) Portal.
Tips to Complete Your CUET (UG) Application Successfully
- Double-check your details: Name, date of birth, and category information should match your official documents.
- Scan documents in advance: Keep your photograph, signature, and other required documents ready in the prescribed format.
- Pay fees promptly: Don’t wait for the last minute; online payment gateways may slow down near the deadline.
- Keep a confirmation copy: Save and download the confirmation page once your application is submitted.
This is the final opportunity for CUET (UG) 2026 aspirants to apply. Don’t miss the chance to secure your entry into India’s top universities. Act quickly, as the portal closes 26 February, 2026 at 11:50 p.m.
