CUET (UG) 2026 Aadhaar-Based Authentication
To make the application process smoother, NTA has introduced Aadhaar authentication for CUET (UG) 2026.
Through Aadhaar, the following details will be fetched automatically:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Photograph
- Address
However, important details like Father’s/Mother’s/Guardian’s name are not available in Aadhaar. These must be filled manually while submitting the application form.
Before applying, ensure your Aadhaar details are updated as per UIDAI guidelines and personal information is accurate and consistent.
CUET (UG) 2026 Application Form Name Mismatch
Many students worry about name mismatches between Aadhaar Card and Class 10 Marksheet /Certificate.
NTA has clarified that an option will be provided during the application process to resolve name mismatch issues.
So, if your name appears slightly different across documents, you’ll still be able to proceed without unnecessary stress.
