The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an official circular announcing changes to the examination schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 Board exam 2026 in the Middle East region. This decision is made keeping in mind the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and other examination staff.

CBSE Middle East Board Exam Update 2026
Class 10 Board Exams 2026 Cancelled in Middle East Regions
- All Class 10 Board examinations scheduled from 07 March, 2026 to 11 March, 2026 have been cancelled.
- Examinations scheduled on 02 March, 05 March, and 06 March, 2026 which were earlier postponed, are now declared cancelled.
- CBSE has also announced, that the mode of declaration of results for Class 10 Board exams will be notified shortly.
Class 12 Board Exams 2026 Postponed in Middle East Regions
For Class 12, the CBSE Board has taken a slightly different decision. The examination scheduled for 07 March, 2026 (Saturday) has been postponed, and the new date will be announced later.
The further guidelines regarding the examination schedule will be issued on 09 March, 2026 onwards.
If you are a Class 12 student, you are advised to constantly keep in touch with your schools.

Conclusion
The decision to cancel CBSE Class 10 Board exams and postpone the exams for Class 12 have been taken after carefully reviewing the current situation in certain Middle East regions. These changes have been made taking in view the safety of all.
