The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2023 is an important entrance exam for aspiring medical professionals. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is scheduled to be held on May 7, 2023. NEET (UG) - 2023 is a single-window entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical programmes offered by universities and colleges across India.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided candidates for the NEET (UG) - 2023 exam with a second chance to register. The NEET 2023 application forms will be soon available on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Applicants are required to submit their application forms by April 13, 2023.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) resumed the NEET (UG) - 2023 registration period on April 11, 2023. Candidates who were unable to register for the NEET - (UG) - 2023 have been granted a second chance by the NTA as a way of supporting the student community. 
The NTA noted that it received a few requests from applicants who were unable to complete their registration due to various unforeseen situations, which is why it was necessary to reopen the registration window.

This chance is being made available to all applicants who applied for NEET - (UG) - 2023 but were unable to register earlier, as well as to those who wish to apply as a new applicant for NEET - (UG) 2023.

Age requirement for NTA NEET 2023 Must have completed a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of
admission as of 31 December 2023.
Minimum qualification Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination General - 50%,
OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
PWD - 45%
Number of permitted attempts There are no restrictions on the maximum NEET attempt limit.

Note for the Candidates:

  • The aspirants who could not finish their registration earlier as well as those who wish to apply as new candidates for the NEET (UG) - 2023 are given this opportunity.
  • Candidates are advised to enter their information carefully because there won't be another chance to make changes as this is a one-time opportunity being offered to them.
