The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is the official education authority in Maharashtra, India. Established under the Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act, 1965, it is responsible for managing and regulating academic activities, including conducting the Std. 10 and Std. 12 Board examinations across the state.

The Maharashtra SSC 2025 recorded an overall pass percentage of 94.10%, showing a marginal decline from 95.81% in the previous year.
Among all divisions, Konkan secured the highest performance with an outstanding SSC 2025 pass percentage of 98.82%, followed by Pune at 94.81% and Latur at 92.77%.
Other divisions recorded Kolhapur at 96.87%, Mumbai at 95.84%, Amravati at 92.95%, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at 92.82%. Nagpur reported the lowest pass percentage at 90.78%, which officials linked to stricter evaluation practices and enhanced anti-cheating measures.

Maharashtra SSC Supplementary Exams 2026 are conducted for students who are unable to clear the main examination, fail to pass one or more subjects, or wish to improve their scores. These exams are also applicable to students who narrowly miss the passing criteria or are unable to appear for the regular exams due to valid and approved reasons.
