Therefore, admissions for Std. 11 in higher secondary schools in the state are being done through the Central Online System from the year 2025-26.
The admission process for Std. 11 in the year 2026-27 has begun and accordingly, the following matters should be brought to the notice of the concerned so that the students can get the necessary guidance and make proper preparations.

- To avail of social or constitutional reservation, it is mandatory for the caste to be recognised within the State of Maharashtra.
- If seeking parallel/special reservation, the relevant certificate (in the student’s name) must be submitted.
- If reservation certificates are not submitted, the student's application will be considered under the Open (General) category; therefore, if no reservation is being claimed, reservation certificates are not required.
- It is advisable for students to obtain the applicable certificates/documents listed above for 11th Standard admission in a timely manner.
- Students and all concerned parties should thoroughly study the information booklet published on the admission portal and stay updated with the instructions provided on the portal during the admission process.
- To ensure students can benefit from reservations, requests should be made to the relevant Revenue Offices to conduct special campaigns for the timely issuance of necessary documents. Secondary schools should also take measures to inform their 10th-standard students and assist them in obtaining these documents while they are still in school.
- The stages of the 11th Standard Centralised Online Process 2026-27 should be understood and planned accordingly. The round-wise timetable for the admission process will be published in due course. Wide publicity should be given to the admission process, and a grievance redressal system should be activated. Further action should be taken by publicising the stages and other essential aspects of the Std. 11 Centralised Online Process. Initially, the registration of Higher Secondary Schools must be completed, after which student registration can begin. It is essential to complete the preliminary work before this.
- The Divisional Deputy Director of Education must ensure that all schools within their jurisdiction are accurately registered on the portal. They must also verify that all details, including intake capacity and fees, have been correctly recorded in accordance with the regulations. Training and orientation sessions for guidance centres, schools, colleges, students, and parents should be organised immediately upon the conclusion of the State Board's Std. 10 examinations.
- To ensure that student applications are filled out accurately and verified promptly during the admission process, the Education Officer (Secondary) must establish guidance centres. Secondary schools should provide comprehensive assistance to their students who have passed the Std. 10in completing their further education admission forms. Arrangements should be made so that the information entered in the application is, as far as possible, verified by the secondary school from which the student graduated. For other students, guidance centres should be established in Government or aided schools providing Std. 11admissions, as per requirement.
- To ensure students and parents receive the necessary guidance for Std. 11 admission and that all instructions regarding admission are issued in a timely manner, Group Education Officers and regional administrative machinery must be trained to accelerate overall monitoring. A system must be put in place for verification tasks and for the resolution of student grievances.
- The Portal URL and detailed instructions will be provided in due course; nevertheless, the above instructions should be brought to the attention of all concerned parties.
Final Thoughts
The transition from Std. 10 to Std. 11 is a big milestone, and the FYJC online admission process is your gateway to the next phase of your academic journey.
