The much-awaited JEE Main 2026 Session 2 results are finally here. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) on 20 April 2026, bringing an end to weeks of anticipation for lakhs of engineering aspirants.
How to Check Your JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Result
If you appeared for Session 2, here’s how to access your scorecard:
- Visit the official website: JEE Main Website
- Click on the Result Link: Find the JEE Main result link on the candidate’s activity section.
- Enter Your Details: Input your application number, password, and the captcha code.
- View Your Result: Once submitted, your result will appear on the screen.
- Download and Print: Verify your result and take a printout for future reference.
Your JEE Main 2026 scorecard will display:
- Subject-wise percentile (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
- Overall NTA percentile score
- Qualification status for JEE Advanced
Note: NTA score is a percentile, not percentage.

Security & Conduct Measures
NTA made extensive arrangements across multiple levels to ensure the exam was conducted without disruption. This included:
- Strong coordination with Central and State authorities
- Strategic planning backed by technology-driven systems
- Multi-layer monitoring across all examination centres
Enhanced Online Application System
The JEE Main 2026 application portal introduced several features to improve accuracy, security, and ease of use:
- AI-based face comparison
- OTP-based Aadhaar e-KYC authentication
- Live photograph comparison with Aadhaar/DigiLocker records
- Verification of uploaded photos with real-time images
- Automatic fetching of PwD/PwBD details from the UDID portal
- City selection restricted to present and permanent address states
- Centralized social media monitoring system
- Mandatory Aadhaar authentication during all Session 2 shifts
Strict Audits and Centre-Level Checks
To maintain high standards across centres:
- All exam centres were audited by the DLCC before Session 1
- Selected centres underwent additional checks by a third-party audit agency before Session 2
Deployment of Officials and Monitoring Teams
NTA ensured strong on-ground supervision through:
- 304 City Coordinators
- 630 Observers
- Representatives from government cyber security agencies
Special emphasis was placed on the random deployment of exam functionaries to maintain fairness.
International Coordination and Candidate Support
For centres outside India:
- Coordination was carried out with Indian Embassies/High Commissions
- 38 special observers were deployed internationally
Additionally: Candidates affected by disruptions in Middle Eastern regions were supported through rescheduling and relocation of centres, with help from Indian missions abroad
Coordination with CBSE
To avoid academic conflicts:
- NTA coordinated with CBSE to ensure no overlap between JEE Main and Class 12 board exams
- Adjustments were made for candidates wherever required
Training of Examination Staff
- A 3-day online orientation programme was conducted
- Around 900 exam functionaries participated
This ensured uniform understanding of protocols and procedures.
Central Control Room and Live Monitoring
- A Central Control Room in New Delhi monitored the exam in real-time
- Live viewing of all examination centres was enabled
Advanced Surveillance and Anti-Cheating Measures
To prevent malpractice:
- Live CCTV surveillance with analytics across all centres
- AI-based video analytics and virtual observers
- Recordings used for post-exam analysis
- 5G jammers installed at all centres to block electronic devices
Candidate Verification and Accessibility
- Your details (category, PwBD status) were taken from application forms
- PwD/PwBD candidates were allotted accessible centres with organisational support
- Identity proof details were included in admit cards for verification
Strict Entry and Exam Rules
- Biometric attendance and frisking at entry
- Re-verification after bio-breaks
- No bio-breaks allowed during: First hour and Last 30 minutes of the exam
- Important instructions were clearly mentioned in admit cards
Unfair Means and Result Withholding
NTA took strict action against malpractice:
- Session 1: Results of 54 candidates withheld
- Session 2: 57 candidates caught using unfair means and 56 results withheld due to identity or document discrepancies
Transparency Measures
To ensure transparency:
- Question papers for all shifts released on 9 April 2026
- Provisional answer keys + objection window provided
- Final answer keys released
