The National Testing Agency has officially released the CUET UG Admit Card 2026 marking a crucial step for candidates appearing in the examination.

How to Download CUET (UG) 2026 Admit Card
- Visit the official CUET (UG) 2026 website.
- Click on the ‘Admit Card for CUET (UG) 2026’ link on the candidate’s activity section.
- Enter your application number, password, and the CAPTCHA code.
- Once submitted, your admit card will appear on the screen, download and take a printout.
CUET UG 2026 Exam Schedule and Shift Details
The exam city and schedule were already communicated through the Advance Exam City Intimation Slip released on 29 April, 2026.
Each shift lasts for 3 hours and you may attempt 1 to 3 subjects per shift.
For example, if you are attempting for 3 subjects you will be at the centre for full 3-hour duration, while if you are appearing for 2 subjects, you can leave after 2 hours.
This flexible structure ensures efficient management of multiple subject combinations within a single shift.
CUET UG Admit Card 2026: Important Instructions
You must follow these key guidelines on the exam day:
- Carry a valid photo ID proof (same as uploaded in the application form).
- Ensure all details on the admit card are correct.
- Carefully read all instructions mentioned on the Admit Card.
Special Verification Requirement
If your live photograph did not match Aadhaar records or you used another ID during registration, you must carry an original certificate properly signed/attested by:
- Principal/Head Master
- Class-I Gazetted Officer (e.g., Tehsildar, SDM, DM)
- Indian Embassy Officer (for NRI candidates)
This certificate will be required for physical verification at the exam centre.
CUET-UG 2026 City Allotment Update
The National Testing Agency has announced that 96.6% of candidates appearing for CUET-UG 2026 have been allotted their preferred exam cities, while 79% received their first choice. Around 3.4% of candidates were assigned cities outside their preferences due to high demand and limited CBT infrastructure.
To address this, a significant update has been introduced for those who are dissatisfied with their allotted exam city.
Reallocation Window Details
- Dates: 05 May, 2026 to 07 May, 2026 (till 11:50 p.m.)
- Eligibility: Candidates allotted a city outside their preferences
- Mode: First-come, first-served basis
You can request changes in:
- Examination State
- City
- Date
- Shift
Important Notes
- Seats are limited and allocated dynamically (first come, first serve basis).
- A Revised Admit Card will be issued to you when you opt for changes.
- If you do not apply within the deadline, you must appear as per the originally allotted details.

- Verify exam city, centre, date, and shift on the admit card
- Apply for reallocation as early as possible (if eligible)
