CUET UG 2026 Dress Code Advisory Released by NTA

The National Testing Agency has officially released a public notice regarding the dress code and permissible items for candidates appearing in CUET UG 2026. The advisory outlines important instructions that you must follow at centres during the examination period.

CUET UG 2026 Dress Code Guidelines 

You must take a note of the following instructions prescribed by NTA:

• Only transparent water bottles are allowed.
• Religious items and articles of faith are permitted with prior reporting to the exam centre.
• Early reporting is mandatory if you are wearing religious items to avoid delays during the security checking process and enable proper frisking.
• White light clothing is preferred.
• The NTA has also specified that if you feel the need to wear woollen clothes due to weather conditions, you can do so, subject to security checks and early reporting requirements.
• Normal shoes, slippers, and low heels are the preferred footwear options.
