The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the correction window for the CUET (UG) 2026 application form. The correction facility is available for a limited time, and after the deadline, no further changes will be allowed under any circumstances.

CUET UG 2026 Correction Window: Important Dates and Schedule
The NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 from 11 May to 31 May, 2026 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple cities in India and abroad.

Last date to make corrections: 11 February, 2026 (up to 11:50 p.m.)
You must visit the official CUET website and review your application details carefully within this period. After the deadline, the application form will be frozen.

What Details Cannot Be Changed in the CUET UG 2026 Application Form?
According to the official notice, certain fields are non-editable during the correction period.
CUET UG 2026 Application Form Fields That Cannot Be Modified
You are not allowed to change:
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Permanent and present address
- Emergency contact details
- Candidate’s photograph
What Details Can Be Changed in the CUET UG 2026 Correction Window?
NTA has allowed you to edit several important fields. However, some changes come with restrictions.
CUET UG 2026 Application Form: Change Allowed in Only One Field
You may change any one of the following:
- Candidate’s name
- Father’s name
- Mother’s name
Only one of these options can be modified.
Academic Details That Can Be Fully Edited in CUET UG 2026 Application Form
You can edit Class 10 or equivalent details and Class 12 or equivalent details.
This is especially useful for students who may have entered marks or Board details incorrectly.
Personal Details That Can Be Updated in CUET UG Application Form 2026
You can edit the following personal information:
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category/PwD/PwBD (if not verified by UDID)
CUET UG 2026 Examination City and Medium Changes
You are allowed to modify examination city selection and medium of examination. Students who previously selected Delhi as their exam city now have the option to select Delhi/NCR.
However, NTA has clarified that it is not bound to allot centres strictly according to candidate preference.
Additional Editable Fields
You may also update:
- Signature
- Domain subjects, languages, and General Aptitude Test (maximum five subjects)
- Aadhaar details (for candidates who registered with another identity proof)
CUET UG 2026 Subject Selection Correction Rules
During the correction period, you can add or edit your chosen subjects. A maximum of five subjects, including languages and the General Aptitude Test, can be selected.
You should choose subjects carefully, as subject combinations may affect university eligibility.
Additional Fees for Application Corrections
If corrections increase the application fee, you must pay the additional amount. Excess payment will not be refunded. Changes will only be final after successful payment. This ensures the corrected form is officially accepted.
The correction facility is a strictly one-time opportunity. Once you submit your corrections, the CUET UG 2026 application form will be frozen and no further edits will be allowed.
