The CUET (UG) 2025 Accountancy Exam structure has undergone a significant change. This change is designed to ease the pressure, especially for students who might find computerised accounting challenging. Here’s a clear breakdown of what’s new.
Optional Unit V: Computerised Accounting Systems
Starting 22 May, 2025, the most notable revision is that Unit V – Computerised Accounting Systems is now optional. This means you can choose to focus on traditional accounting topics if you prefer. The NTA wants to ensure that every student, regardless of their comfort level with technology, has a fair chance to succeed.
Retake Option for Early CUET UG 2025 Accountancy Candidates
If you took the CUET (UG) 2025 Accountancy paper between 13 May and 16 May, 2025, you have the opportunity to keep your original score or choose to retake the exam with the revised syllabus. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will provide this option to eligible candidates through its official website.
Key Tips for CUET (UG) 2025 Revised Structure
Review the revised syllabus thoroughly to plan your studies accordingly. If you appeared for the exam in between the above mentioned dates in May, carefully evaluate whether to retain your score or opt for the exam retake.
