What Are Your Options After the CBSE Supplementary Results 2025?
CBSE allows students to take the following steps after their supplementary exam results:
- Request a scanned copy of your evaluated answer book
- Apply for verification of marks
- Request re-evaluation of specific questions
These steps are part of CBSE’s commitment to transparency and giving students fair opportunities. But there’s a rule: You need to follow the process in the correct order and within the given deadlines.
Step 1: Request a Scanned Copy of Your Answer Book for CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025
Before applying for re-evaluation or verification, you must first request the scanned copy of your answer sheet.
Here’s why: You’ll get to see how your answers were marked and check for any discrepancies.
Dates To Request CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025 Answer Book
- Class 12: 6 August to 7 August, 2025 (up to 11:59 p.m.)
- Class 10: 8 August to 9 August, 2025 (up to 11:59 p.m.)
Fees To Request CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025 Answer Book
- Class 12: ₹700 per subject
- Class 10: ₹500 per subject
Step 2: Verification of Marks Re-evaluation of Answers for CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025
After you’ve reviewed your scanned answer book, you can apply for verification of marks to check if any totaling or checking errors occurred.
If, after seeing your evaluated copy, you feel a specific answer wasn’t awarded enough marks, you can request re-evaluation on a per-question basis.
Note: You must have applied for a scanned copy of the answer book to be eligible for re-evaluation or verification.

- ₹500 per answer book for verification
- ₹100 per question for re evaluation
Key Guidelines to Remember
- The process is completely online through www.cbse.gov.in.
- Only one application per candidate per step is allowed.
- Applications via offline mode or cyber cafes will not be accepted.
- No refunds will be issued, even if there is no change in marks.
- Revised marks (increase or decrease) will be considered final, and you must submit your previous mark sheet if changed.
