CBSE Releases Circular for NEP 2020 Online Training Programme
CBSE has informed all Principals and Heads of CBSE-affiliated schools about the "NEP 2020: Empowering SEDGs" Online Training Programme, which will be conducted from 27 July, 2026 to 31 July, 2026.
The five-day online programme is being organised by the Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) to mark the 6th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Objective of the CBSE NEP 2020 Training Programme
According to the official circular, the programme aims to deepen participants' understanding of the educational needs of Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDGs) and the provisions of NEP 2020 that promote equitable and inclusive education.
Topics Covered During the Programme
The online training programme will include the following themes:
- Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)
- Gender Inclusion Fund
- Special Education Zones
- Inclusive pedagogy
- Technology-enabled learning
- Institutional support mechanisms
These topics are intended to strengthen the implementation of inclusive educational practices.
