Previous CBSE notification stated:
CBSE informed affiliated schools to submit the List of Candidates for the 2026-27 main exams in the prior circular. The notification mentioned that it is important that correct details are entered.
Schools were initially required to submit their LOC details by October 21, 2026. However, with the applicable late fee, the submission deadline was extended to October 30, 2026.
The Board has Instructed To verify the accuracy of all student details including their correct subjects and eligibility criteria. Only eligible and regularly enrolled students should be sponsored.
Important information for parents
CBSE has notified schools to inform students of the latest notification. Parents should make sure that the names, DOB and other details are correct.
The board has notified schools to ensure students use their full names and not any initials. This is especially important if they may need their education documents internationally.
Schools and parents should also make sure the DOB and subjects are correct. This is the responsibility of the school and the parents.
What happens next?
All the necessary corrections must be made by the schools by November 7. After this date, CBSE will not give schools another chance to make changes to the LOC details for classes 10 and 12.
The latest notification ensures that all student details are correctly entered so there aren't any issues with examination documents.
