NMIMS Entrance Test UG Mode of Exam 2026–27

The NMIMS Entrance Examination is a computer-based online examination (CBT mode). The exam is to be held at the test centers as directed by NMIMS. This Entrance exam is categorised into four different categories:

  • NMIMS-NPAT
  • NMIMS-CET
  • NMIMS–MST (Mathematical Science Test)
  • NMIMS-LAT (Law)

Exam Structure for NMIMS Entrance Exam 2026–27

NMIMS NPAT Exam Structure

This exam structure is for Commerce, Economics, Branding, Liberal Arts, International Business, and Family Business Management only. The exam comprises of three major sections:

  • There is no negative marking in any of the sections.
  • The type of questions and difficulty is same as per the SAT exam pattern

NMIMS CET Exam structure

This exam structure is for Engineering and Pharmacy only.

The exam is based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology of Std. 12 curriculum.

Pharmacy admission test is based on PCM / PCB combination as selected at the time of online registration form.

The exam comprises of 5 major sections:

Registration for NMIMS Entrance Exam 2026–27

You must follow the following steps in order to register for NMIMS entrance exam 2026:

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on ‘Apply Now’ and create your account.
  • Select the programme-wise application form and complete the registration.
  • Based on eligibility, choose the test category (NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-LAT / NMIMS-MST), along with school, programme, and campus preferences.
  • You can select multiple test categories, schools, and programmes.
  • The registration fee depends on the number of schools selected and the total number of retakes chosen.
  • Only paid candidates will be allowed to schedule the exam.
  • You can opt for 1 main attempt and up to 2 retakes for each exam category (maximum 3 attempts in total).
  • After successful registration and payment, schedule your exam by selecting the test date(s) and test centre.

Note: You must register only once. Multiple registrations can cause blocking of you account.
