All NEET (UG) 2025 aspirants, here’s an important update!
The confusion regarding the requirement of APAAR ID during the NEET (UG) application process has come to an end. In a public notice dated 24 January, 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that the APAAR ID is not mandatory for NEET (UG) 2025 registration. This change marks an important shift in the registration process.
Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) is a unique identification system to access all your credentials and achievements in one place. The NTA had previously released a public notice dated 14 January, 2025 regarding the usage of APAAR ID in the registration process for NEET (UG) 2025.
The NTA has clarified that you can continue to register for the exam using other available means the details of which will be available on the official information bulletin soon.
To assist students who still wish to create their APAAR ID, the NTA has provided clear instructions for the process.
