The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a final opportunity to confirm, correct, or update your bank account details to receive the refund of the cancelled NEET UG 2026 examination held on 3 May, 2026 examination fee.

NEET UG 2026 Refund Bank Account Details Final Correction Window
NTA is currently finalising the NEET UG 2026 re-examination results held on 21 June, 2026. As announced earlier, the examination fee for the cancelled 3 May, 2026 exam will be refunded to all eligible candidates.
With around 19 lakh candidates having already updated their bank details, NTA has opened a final window for candidates to confirm, correct, or update their details, including revising a previous ‘No Refund’ choice.

No requests for changes will be accepted after the correction window closes.
What You Will See After Logging Into the NEET UG Portal
When you log in to the NTA portal, your previously submitted bank account details will be displayed.
You can choose any one of the following options:
1. Confirm Existing Bank Details
If your displayed Bank Account Number and IFSC Code are correct, simply tick the confirmation checkbox and submit your confirmation.
2. Update or Correct Bank Details
If your details are incorrect or were not submitted earlier, you can enter fresh bank account information on the portal.
You will need to provide:
- Beneficiary Name
- Bank Account Number
- Re-enter Bank Account Number
- Bank Name
- IFSC Code
While editing your details, you can also upload a scanned copy of cancelled cheque, or first page of your bank passbook showing the account number and IFSC code (if available).
3. Choose ‘No Refund’
If you do not wish to claim the refund, you may select the 'No Refund' option.
Candidates who had previously selected 'No Refund' can also change their choice and opt to receive the refund during this final correction window.
How to Update NEET UG 2026 Refund Bank Account Details
Step 1: Visit the Official NEET Website
Go to the NEET portal and click on the ‘Bank Account Details Confirmation/Updation’ link.
Step 2: Login
Sign in using your application number and password.
Step 3: Complete OTP Authentication
Verify your identity through the OTP sent to your registered mobile number as part of the mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Step 4: Choose Your Preferred Option
You can:
- Confirm your existing bank details.
- Update your bank account information.
- Select 'No Refund' if you do not wish to receive the refund.
Step 5: Submit the Form
Review your details carefully before submitting the form.
Important Instructions for NEET UG 2026 Refund
NTA has advised candidates to exercise utmost care while confirming or updating their bank account details.
Keep the following points in mind:
- The NEET UG 2026 refund will be transferred only to the Bank Account Number and IFSC Code confirmed by you.
- NTA will not be responsible if the refund is credited to an incorrect account due to wrong, incomplete, or unverified information submitted by you.
- Ensure the bank account is active.
- The account should be in your name, your parent's or family member's name, or a joint account that includes your name, wherever applicable.
- Do not share your login credentials, OTP, or bank details with anyone.
- NTA will never ask for your OTP or password through calls or messages.
- Requests to change bank account details after 30 June, 2026 (11:55 p.m) will not be accepted.
