The NTA has declared the NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Result on 16 July, 2026. Along with the result, NTA has also published:

The NEET UG 2026 examination witnessed participation from candidates across every State and Union Territory.
More than 58% of the qualified candidates are women, while the majority of the top-performing candidates fall within the 17 to 19 years age group.

The highest score in NEET UG 2026 is 715 out of 720.
The top scorers are:

Other notable statistics released by NTA include:
19 candidates scored above 700 marks.

According to NTA:
- 17 State Toppers scored 700 marks or above.
- 26 State Toppers scored above 690 marks.

NEET UG 2026 Counselling: What You Should Know
Now that the NEET UG Result 2026 has been announced, the counselling process will move forward according to the official admission schedule.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for the All India Quota MBBS/BDS seats.
NTA has clarified that:
- State counselling will be conducted by the respective State authorities.
- NTA's role is limited to conducting the examination, declaring the result based on the prescribed eligibility criteria, and issuing the All India Rank.
- You should rely only on official counselling portals and avoid unofficial websites or unauthorised sources.

NTA has advised you to remain cautious of fraudulent calls, messages, or websites claiming to offer admission, seat blocking, or score improvement.
According to the official advisory, NTA does not contact candidates seeking money or personal credentials.
