Overview About the NEET (UG) 2026 Examination
NEET (UG) 2026 will be conducted as a single, common national entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical courses across India. Its scores are used for admission to MBBS, BDS and BVSc, and AH courses.
The same NEET (UG) exam is also compulsory for admission to undergraduate courses in the Indian System of Medicine including BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS as well as for the BHMS (Homeopathy) course and other allied and healthcare courses. MNS (Military Nursing Service) aspirants who wish to take admission to the four-year B.Sc. Nursing course at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals must qualify in NEET (UG). The NEET (UG) score will be used for their selection.
NEET (UG) 2026 Exam Timings and Languages
The NEET (UG) 2026 examination will be held on 03 May, 2026. The exam will be conducted for a total of 180 minutes, from 02:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m.
The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, making it more accessible to students from diverse regions. These are as follows:
