The National Testing Agency has issued an important update regarding the refund process for the examination fee of NEET (UG) 2026 candidates. As per the latest public notice, if you have not yet submitted your bank account details for the refund process, you have now been given additional time.

What Did NTA Announce?
In continuation of the earlier public notices dated 12 May, 2026 and 22 May, 2026, the NTA has informed that:
- Around 13 lakh candidates have already updated their bank account details.
- To support those who are still left to complete the process, the refund portal will remain active till 22 June, 2026 till 11:50 p.m.
- You must log in through the official NEET (UG) 2026 registration portal and submit your preferred bank account details for the refund.
Important Note: The agency has also clarified that once the details are submitted, they will be treated as final and no further changes will be allowed.
Details Required for NEET (UG) 2026 Fee Refund
You must carefully enter the following bank account details while filling the refund form:
- Account Holder Name as per bank account
- IFSC Code
- Account Number
- Bank Name
- Scanned copy of cancelled cheque (optional)
Important Note: The upload of a cancelled cheque is optional, but NTA has advised that it may help ensure accuracy in bank account verification.
Steps for Secure Login with OTP
To access the refund facility, you need to log in securely through OTP verification. The process includes:
- Entering application number and password.
- Completing CAPTCHA verification.
- Receiving OTP on the registered mobile number.
- Verifying OTP to access the refund portal.
