The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the schedule for submitting Maharashtra SSC (Std.10) Exam 2027 application forms for the February–March 2027 examination.
If you are appearing for the Maharashtra 10th Board Exam 2027, your school will have to complete the application process online through the prescribed system.

Maharashtra 10th Exam 2027 Application Form Dates
The application process covers regular students as well as re-exam candidates, eligible private candidates, students under the upgrading scheme, students opting for rare subjects, and ITI students seeking Transfer of Credit.

The last date for secondary schools to submit fee receipts/price list of students to the Divisional Board is 7 December, 2026.
Schools should follow the dates and prescribed fee-payment procedure while submitting the Maharashtra SSC 2027 application forms.
Who Can Apply for the Maharashtra SSC 2027 Exam?
The online application process applies to:
- Regular SSC students appearing for the February–March 2027 examination.
- Re-exam candidates.
- Private candidates who have received an Enrollment Certificate.
- Students appearing under the upgrading scheme.
- Students opting for rare subjects.
- ITI students taking Transfer of Credit through Industrial Training Institutes.
- Students seeking Transfer of Credit under the Kaushalya Setu Mission.
Maharashtra SSC 2027 Application Form Process
Regular Students
If you are a regular student, your school principal will submit your SSC 2027 examination application form online using your PEN-ID in UDISE.
If you are not registered in UDISE+, your application can still be submitted by entering the complete required information.
Re-Exam, Private and Other Eligible Students
The information of re-exam candidates, eligible private candidates, students appearing under the upgrading scheme or with rare subjects, and ITI students are not available through UDISE.
Therefore, their application forms have to be filled online through the prescribed process within the announced dates.
Transfer of Credit Under Kaushalya Setu Mission
If you are seeking Transfer of Credit under the Kaushalya Setu Mission, you should fill in the application form online and register the Transfer of Credit against the relevant subject.
You will also have to submit a hard copy of the application form and the necessary documents to the Divisional Board as per the usual procedure.
Important Guidelines for Maharashtra SSC 2027 Application Form
Before submitting the application forms, schools must ensure that the school profile contains correct information, including details related to the school, approved subjects, and teachers.
After all applications are submitted, a Pre-List will be made available through the school login during the application period.
Schools should:
- Take a printout of the Pre-List.
- Verify the information entered in the application forms against the General Register.
- Get the concerned students' signatures to confirm the information.
- Ensure that the principal signs and stamps every page of the verified Pre-List.
Students' APAAR-ID, wherever available, should also be noted while filling out the application form.
Check the Application and Payment Status
Schools have to select the required students through the website and pay the prescribed examination fee through the SBI Bank online payment gateway.
After payment, schools should verify that:
- The application status has changed from Draft to Send to Board.
- The payment status has changed from Not Paid to Paid.
Applications in ‘Send to Board’ and ‘Paid’ status will be considered received by the Board for further action. Applications that remain in Draft mode will not be acted upon.
Cash payments will not be accepted by the Board. Schools should also not use old bank currency/challans that were previously in use.
Maharashtra SSC 2027 Photo Guidelines
When your photograph is uploaded for the SSC examination application form, make sure it meets the prescribed requirements.
Photo Size and Format
- The photograph should be a professionally taken colour passport-size photograph.
- It should be in JPG/JPEG format.
- The file size should be between 25 KB and 40 KB.
- The photograph should have been taken within the last six months.
- The background should be white or plain.
Student Photograph Requirements
- Your photograph should clearly show your face from the front.
- Both eyes and ears should be visible.
- Your face should be completely visible.
- Hair or a mask should not cover your face.
- You should preferably wear the official school uniform.
- If you wear glasses, ensure that there is no reflection or light affecting your eyes.
- Photos in formats such as PNG or BMP must be converted to JPG. Simply renaming the file extension is not sufficient.
Note: Once the application forms have been sent to the Board and admit cards have been prepared, the photograph cannot be changed.
How to Avoid Errors in the Maharashtra SSC 2027 Application Form
The Board has highlighted the need to carefully verify students' details, particularly their name and date of birth.
You should check the information carefully against the General Register. Students' or parents' signatures should be obtained on the Pre-List or the printout of the application form after verification.
To minimise errors, secondary schools have also been advised to create multiple secondary logins under the school's main login. Students can fill out their applications in the computer lab, after which the information can be checked through the main login.
Maharashtra SSC Exam 2027 Application Form: Important Points
- Application forms will be submitted online through the secondary school.
- Regular students will use the PEN-ID in UDISE route.
- Eligible students outside UDISE will follow the prescribed online process.
- Schools must verify student details before submitting applications.
- Students' signatures should be obtained after verification.
- The prescribed examination fee must be paid for all submitted applications.
- Admit cards will not be made available to concerned candidates until the prescribed examination fee has been paid for all applications submitted by the school.
- Schools must ensure that applications show Send to Board and Paid status after payment.
- The Board will not accept examination fees in cash.
- No extension will be provided for the application submission dates.
