The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is the official education authority in Maharashtra, India. Established under the Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act, 1965, it is responsible for overseeing academic matters and conducting the Std. 10 and 12 Board examinations across the state.
The Maharashtra HSC exams 2026 were conducted from 10 February, 2026, to 11 March, 2026. Lakhs of students appeared for the HSC examinations across the state this year. Maharashtra HSC Exam and Results 2025
The Maharashtra HSC Exam Results 2025 was declared on 5 May, 2025, highlighting key performance trends across various divisions in the state.
The MSBSHSE declared the Class 12 (HSC) results with an overall pass percentage of 91.88%, marking a slight drop from 93.37% in 2024.
Konkan topped the list with the highest HSC pass percentage of 96.74%. Pune recorded 91.32%, followed by Nagpur at 90.52%. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar achieved 92.24%, while Mumbai stood at 92.93%. Kolhapur registered 93.64%, Amravati recorded 91.43%, and Latur reported a pass percentage of 89.46%.
Female students outperformed male candidates, recording a pass percentage of 94.58%, while boys achieved 89.51%.
