The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced that an admission process will be conducted for the four-year integrated BA/BSc-B.Ed courses for the academic year 2025–26. It will be conducted through a state-level entrance examination scheduled for 20 June, 2025.
Transition to Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)
Earlier this year, the Maharashtra government had declared the discontinuation of the existing four-year BA/BSc-B.Ed (Integrated) courses starting from the 2025–26 academic session.
This decision was taken to replace the courses with the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) as per the guidelines of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
However, a subsequent notice from the NCTE dated 05 May, 2025, postponed the implementation of ITEP to the 2026–27 academic year.
As a result, the Department of Higher Education, Mantralaya, asked the CET Cell to conduct the entrance test for the existing integrated courses only for the 2025–26 session.
Registration and Admission Process for Four-year Integrated BA/BSc-B.Ed Courses in Maharashtra
You can register for the CET exam between 02 June and 15 June, 2025.
The registration window and application form can be accessed through your account on the official CET website.
Note: No further extension will be given beyond 15 June, 2025 for the Integrated BA/BSc-B.Ed Courses registration process.
Following the announcement of the CET results, the CET Cell will release a separate schedule for the centralised admission process (CAP) for the four-year BA/BSc-B.Ed (Integrated) courses.
