Eligible colleges can now apply online within the prescribed timeline to be considered as Document Verification Centres (Scrutiny Centres) for various professional undergraduate and postgraduate admission processes conducted through CET exams.

What is CET CAP 2026 Scrutiny Centre Registration?
As part of the admission process, the CET Cell appoints Scrutiny Centres (SCs) that help facilitate document verification during CAP admissions.
For the academic year 2026–27, colleges with the required infrastructure and technical facilities can register to be considered for appointment as Scrutiny Centres.
CET Scrutiny Centre Registration Dates 2026
Colleges interested in becoming a Scrutiny Centre (SC) must complete the online registration within the following schedule:

Institutions must complete the registration within the prescribed deadline.
Who Needs to Register for CET Scrutiny Centre (SC)?
The circular states that registration is mandatory for:
- Government colleges
- Government-aided colleges
- University-run colleges
- Other eligible colleges
Only institutions that register on the portal and meet the required eligibility criteria will be considered for selection as Scrutiny Centres.
How to Register for MAH CET CAP 2026 Scrutiny Centre
If your institution wishes to become a Document Verification Centre, you need to complete the online registration through the official registration portal within the specified period.

While registering, you should ensure that all information submitted is accurate, complete and genuine.
The CET Cell has clarified that applications containing incomplete or incorrect information will not be considered.
Selection of Scrutiny Centres for CAP 2026
After registration, the CET Cell will select colleges that satisfy the prescribed requirements to function as Scrutiny Centres (SCs).
These centres will provide document verification and admission-related facilitation to students and parents during the CAP process.
Responsibilities of Selected Scrutiny Centres
If your institution is selected as a Scrutiny Centre, you will be required to:
- Follow all guidelines issued by the State CET Cell from time to time.
- Carry out document verification and related admission work accurately.
- Maintain transparency throughout the admission process.
- Complete all assigned work within the prescribed timelines.
Compliance with the rules and operating procedures issued by the CET Cell will be mandatory.
