Here’s your chance to download and challenge the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Provisional Answer Keys.
In a public notice dated 04 February, 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the Provisional Answer Keys and Recorded Responses Sheet on the official JEE website.
Understanding the ‘Answer Key Challenge’ Process in JEE Main
The NTA initiated the Answer Key Challenge process to ensure transparency and fairness in the JEE Main score calculation process. With the release of the Provisional Answer Keys and Recorded Responses Sheet, you can raise a challenge to correct any discrepancies you find in the Provisional Answer Keys. If the challenge is found correct, the Answer Keys will be revised and applied in the response of all candidates. After reviewing the challenges, experts will finalise the Answer Keys. The results will be prepared and declared on the basis of the Final Answer Keys.
Important Information
- Provisional Answer Keys are released for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.)
- You can submit your challenges from 04 to 06 February, 2025 (up to 11:50 p.m.). No challenges will be accepted after the last date.
- You will not be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of your challenge.
How to Challenge the Provisional Answer Keys
- For challenging the Answer Keys, you must submit the challenge online by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question.
- Payments are to be made via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking till 06 February, 2025 (up to 11:50 p.m.).
- Challenges will not be accepted without a receipt of the processing fee.
Steps to Check the Provisional Answer Keys
The link to download the JEE Main 2025 Provisional Answer Keys for Session 1 is available on the JEE Main website. You can download them using the steps mentioned below.
1. Go to the official JEE Main website.
2. Click on the ‘JEE (Main) 2025 Session-1 (Answer Key Challenge)’ option in the ‘Candidate Activity’ tab. You will be redirected to a new tab.
3. Login using your JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Application Number and the required details.
4. Once logged in, the JEE Main Answer Keys will be visible on your screen.
5. You can analyse the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Paper 1 Answer Keys and raise one or multiple challenges if required.
With the release of the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Provisional Answer Keys, you now have a crucial opportunity to assess your performance. This step brings you closer to your final scores and rankings. If you believe a question has been incorrectly evaluated, make sure to raise objections within the given time frame.
