JEE Advanced 2026 Results Announced
The JEE Advanced 2026 results were declared on 1 June, 2026, allowing you to check your performance and eligibility for admission to IITs and other participating institutions.
The release of JEE Advanced 2026 results was after declaration of JEE Main 2026 ranks by the Joint Apex Board on 20 April, 2026.
The focus now shifts from examination performance to securing a seat in your preferred institution and academic programme through JoSAA counselling.
JoSAA 2026 Registration Starts on 2 June,
JoSAA counselling will officially commence on 2 June, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
From this date, you can:
- Register for JoSAA counselling.
- Fill-in your choice of institutes and academic programmes.
- Begin pre-payment of the seat acceptance fee.
- Upload required documents in advance.
Important Note: If you who qualify for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT), you will be able to submit AAT-specific choices from 7 June, 2026 following the declaration of AAT results.
Important Dates for Choice Filling
- 2 June, 2026 (5:00 p.m.): Registration and choice filling begin.
- 8 June, 2026 (2:00 p.m.): Mock Seat Allocation Round 1 published based on the choices filled on 7 June, 2026, 8 p.m.
- 10 June, 2026 (1:00 p.m.): Mock Seat Allocation Round 2 published based on the choices filled on 09 June, 2026, 5 p.m.
- 11 June, 2026 (5:00 p.m.): Choice filling and registration close. Choices will be automatically locked by the system if you do not lock them manually before the deadline.
The mock allocations will allow you to evaluate your chances of admission and revise your preferences before final submission.
JoSAA 2026 Seat Allocation Schedule
JoSAA will conduct five rounds of seat allocation.
Round 1
- Seat allocation: 13 June, 2026
- Online reporting, fee payment and document upload: 13–26 June, 2026
- Last date for fee payment: 26 June, 2026, 5 p.m.
- Resolution of Fee Payment Issues: 29 June, 2026, 5 p.m.
- Last day to respond to Withdrawal Query : 26 June, 2026, 5 p.m.
Round 2
- Seat allocation: 30 June, 2026
- Online reporting, fee payment and document upload: 30 June–3 July, 2026
- Last date for fee payment: 3 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
- Resolution of Fee Payment Issues: 4 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
- Initiation of Withdrawal of seat: 1-3 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
- Last day to respond to Withdrawal Query: 5 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
Round 3
- Seat allocation: 6 July, 2026
- Online reporting: 6–8 July, 2026
- Last date for fee payment: 8 July, 2026
- Resolution of Fee Payment Issues: 9 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
- Initiation of Withdrawal of seat: 7-8 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
- Last day to respond to Withdrawal Query: 9 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
Round 4
- Seat allocation: 10 July, 2026
- Online reporting: 10–13 July, 2026
- Last date for fee payment: 13 July, 2026
- Resolution of Fee Payment Issues: 14 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
- Initiation of Withdrawal of seat: 11-14 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
- Last day to respond to Withdrawal Query: 15 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
Round 5 (Final Round for IITs and IISc)
- Seat allocation: 16 July, 2026
- Online reporting: 16–20 July, 2026
- Last date for fee payment: 20 July, 2026
- Resolution of Fee Payment Issues: 21 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
- Final IIT and IISc allocation process concludes: 21 July, 2026, 5 p.m.
Important Update for NIT+ System Candidates
While Round 5 marks the final seat allocation round for IITs and IISc, if you are participating in the NIT+ system, you have additional deadlines to note.
NIT+ candidates who wish to withdraw their allotted seat can do so during the following period:
- Withdrawal initiation: 16 July, to 20 July, 2026 (until 5:00 p.m.)
- Withdrawal query responses: 17 July, to 21 July, 2026 (until 5:00 p.m.)
If you retain your allotted seats under the NIT+ system, you must complete the online payment of the Partial Admission Fee (PAF) between 22 July, 2026 and 24 July, 2026 (until 5:00 p.m.)
The PAF payment is a mandatory step to proceed with admission through NITs, IIITs and other participating institutes in the NIT+ system.
