CET CAP 2026: Earlier Seat Acceptance Fee Revision Cancelled
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially withdrawn the public notice issued on 19 July, 2026, which proposed revisions to the seat acceptance fee structure under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for First-Year Engineering Admissions 2026–27.
The decision was taken after the CET Cell received several representations and suggestions from students, parents, educational institutions, and other organisations.
What Is the Seat Acceptance Fee for CET CAP 2026 Engineering Admissions?
Following the cancellation of the earlier notice, the CET Cell has confirmed that the seat acceptance fee will remain ₹1,000 under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for First-Year Engineering Admissions 2026–27.
The notice also states that this fee structure will be the same as the one followed for other undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes under CAP.
