Important Dates and Eligibilty to Apply for CBSE Class 10 Verification and Re-Evaluation of Answers

Important Note: No applications submitted after the deadline will be accepted.
The facility is available to you if:
- You have already obtained the scanned copy of your evaluated answer book.
- You wish to report issues observed in the scanned copy.
- You wish to request re-evaluation of one or more answers.
You can apply for either facility or both, depending on your requirements.
Fee Structure for CBSE Class 10 Verification and Re-Evaluation of Answers
CBSE has prescribed the following fees for CBSE Class 10 Verification and Re-Evaluation of Answers:
- Rs. 100 per answer book for verification of issues observed in the supplied scanned copy.
- Rs. 25 per question for re-evaluation.
Payments can be made only through:
- UPI
- Credit Card
- Debit Card
- Net Banking
CBSE will not accept payments through cash, cheque, demand draft, postal order, or money order.
What Issues Can Be Reported for CBSE Class 10 Verification?
If you notice discrepancies in the your CBSE Class 10 scanned answer book, you may request verification for missing pages, supplementary sheets,maps or graphs, blurred pages, receipt of another student's answer book, evaluation carried out using the marking scheme of a different question paper set.
Re-evaluation of CBSE Class 10 Answers
You may also request re-evaluation of one or more questions across one or more subjects.
While submitting the application, you will be required to provide relevant details such as:
- Question number
- Page number
- Other required information as applicable
You should ensure that all the questions that you wish to submit for re-evaluation are selected before proceeding with payment.
How to Apply for CBSE Class 10 Verification and Re-Evaluation of Answers

Steps for CBSE marksheet verification and re-evaluation
You can follow these steps:
- Visit the CBSE post-result portal.
- Log in using the required credentials.
- Enter the Aadhaar number as required for portal access.
- Select either: Verification of issues, Re-evaluation of answers, or Both facilities.
- Add all subjects and requests before final submission.
- Click ‘Freeze and Proceed to Payment’.
- Complete the online payment process.
The application will be considered successfully submitted only after successful payment
Important Instructions to Remember
CBSE has issued several important guidelines:
- Only one application for verification of issues is allowed.
- Only one application for re-evaluation is allowed.
- You should decide in advance whether they wish to include one or multiple subjects.
- Multiple subjects and requests should be added before final submission.
- Once the ‘Freeze and Proceed to Payment’ button is clicked, the details become locked and cannot be edited.
- Applications submitted offline will not be accepted.
- Requests received after the deadline will not be considered.
