CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026: Post-Result Facilities

The post-result process will take place in two stages:

Stage 1: Apply for a Scanned Copy of the Answer Book

In the first stage, you can request a scanned copy of your evaluated answer book for the desired subject. This allows you to check how your answers were evaluated and how marks were awarded.

The scanned copy will be made available in your login account after information related to the identity of the examiner, evaluator and other officials involved in the examination process has been blocked.

Stage 2: Apply for Verification or Re-evaluation

After receiving the scanned copy, you can check your answer book and apply for:

• Verification of marks
• Re-evaluation
• Both verification of marks and re-evaluation

Note: You must first apply for the scanned copy of the evaluated answer book to become eligible for verification and re-evaluation.

CBSE Class 12 Supplementary 2026 Important Dates and Fees

The CBSE notice has specified separate schedules and fees for obtaining the scanned answer book and applying for verification or re-evaluation.

How to Apply for CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Result 2026 Verification?

Before applying for verification, you should carefully check the scanned copy of your answer book.

Check Whether All Questions Have Been Evaluated

Go through the answer book and check whether all the questions have been evaluated. If any question has not been evaluated, note down the question number so that you can inform CBSE.

Check the Marks Awarded for Each Answer

Check whether the marks awarded for different steps or parts of an answer have been correctly calculated according to the marking scheme.

Check the Marks Entered on the Cover Page

Compare the marks awarded to each answer in the left margin with the marks entered in the table on the cover page.

Check the Totals

You should also check whether:

• The total of each row is correct.
• The total of the right-hand-side column is correct.
• The total marks in the answer book match the marks shown in your result or DigiLocker.

If you find any discrepancy, you can provide the relevant information to CBSE. The information submitted by you will be checked by experts. 

If the information is found to be correct, the necessary corrections will be made.

What to Do If You Find a Mistake?

If you do not find any mistake in your scanned answer book, you may choose not to apply or provide any information to CBSE.

However, if you notice any discrepancy, you should clearly mention the relevant details while communicating with CBSE. You may need to report:

• If the supplementary answer book provided is not yours.
• The question numbers that have not been evaluated.
• Any discrepancy in evaluation as per the marking scheme.
• Any difference between the marks awarded in the answer book and the marks entered on the cover page.
• Errors in totaling the marks in individual rows.
• Any error in the total of the right-hand-side column.
• Any difference between the total marks in your answer book and the marks displayed on the web portal.

CBSE will verify the information provided by you through experts. If the discrepancy is found to be correct, the necessary correction will be made. 

CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Re-evaluation 2026: What You Need to Know

If you want to apply for CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation 2026, remember that re-evaluation is available only for the theory portion.

Re-evaluation will be carried out for the full question and not for a part of a question.

How to Check Your Answer Book Before Re-evaluation?

You should refer to the question paper and marking scheme available on the official CBSE website.

You can compare your answers with the marking scheme and identify any answer where you believe marks have not been awarded despite matching the marking scheme.

While submitting your re-evaluation request, you should clearly mention the question number and the reason for your request. You may also upload any supporting documents if required.

Your information should be submitted clearly so that your request can be properly understood and addressed.

Important Guidelines for CBSE Class 12 Verification and Re-evaluation

Before submitting your application, keep these important points in mind:

• The complete application and fee payment process is online.
• Applications will be accepted only during the specified schedule.
• Applications submitted after the scheduled date and time or through offline mode will not be accepted.
• Fees can be paid only through UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
• Only one application for each step per candidate will be accepted.
• A decrease of even one mark will be affected.
• If marks change, whether they increase or decrease, you will have to surrender the Mark Statement cum Certificate in your possession and a new certificate will be issued.
• The fee will be refunded if there is an increase in marks after verification and/or re-evaluation, in the same account from which the fee was paid.

Note: The decision of CBSE regarding the marks awarded will be final and binding.

CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Re-evaluation Result 2026

The outcome of verification will be communicated through the same login account from which you applied for the scanned copy of the evaluated answer book. You are also advised to check the CBSE website for the status of your verification request.

CBSE has clearly stated that the result of re-evaluation will be final, and no appeal or review against the re-evaluation will be entertained.

Do Not Rely on Unofficial CBSE Updates

CBSE has advised students and parents not to rely on unverified social media posts, rumours, or unofficial sources regarding the result and post-result process.

For authentic and updated information, you should refer to CBSE's official communication channels or contact the respective Regional Offices/CBSE Helplines for assistance.

CBSE Class 12 Supplementary 2026: RTI Guidelines

CBSE has also clarified that you can obtain a scanned copy of your answer book under the RTI Act, 2005, as per the provisions of the Act. However, requests for re-evaluation or grievance redressal cannot be made under the RTI Act and will not be entertained.
